Fana - Oasis, Underwater Tower
Many Wizards have no problem getting this rod, but a few of us have found it to be deadly.
The Deepwater Goblin tower is marked as 10 on the map below.
Invis and Levitate to the approximate location. When you hear DW Gobs casting, you are over the tower. You can now move down until you see the top floor of the tower. The rod is right in the middle of the floor, with 2 or 3 DW gobs guarding it.
When I did this one, Invis dropped just as I was above the rod. Knowing I would soon die, I grabbed the rod anyway. When I came back to do CR, I simply swam out over my body and dragged it to shore, with the rod on it already. Fortunately, a lvl 51 Cleric friend of mine was on, and was able to res me for almost total exp regainJ
